Built on a 15-day framework with two fully differentiated pathways, Grade Level students read "The Lottery," "Harrison Bergeron," and "All Summer in a Day," while Honors students take on Jack London's The Scarlet Plague as a separate, more demanding track. Each level has its own performance task (an alternate ending for Grade Level, an original dystopian short story for Honors), its own rubric, and its own assessments built to match. No filler, no fluff, just real, rigorous material that asks students to think critically about control, conformity, and the cost of silence.
