Here's what this is...

This summer, I'm doing something I've been wanting to do for a while. Starting Saturday, May 30, I'm launching a brand new blog series right here on Teaching: The Real.

It's called Real Talk @ The Summer Table, and it's exactly what it sounds like. Honest conversations about teaching, learning, growing, and surviving this profession with your passion still intact.

No sugarcoating. No Pinterest-perfect classrooms. Just real talk, from one educator to another.

What we'll be talking about...

Over the next several weeks, we'll pull up a chair and dig into topics that actually matter: classroom culture, teacher mindset, lesson planning, connecting with students, navigating the hard stuff, and giving ourselves the grace we so freely give everyone else.

Some posts will challenge you. Some will make you laugh. Some might make you feel seen in a way you didn't expect on a random Monday morning.

When to show up...

New posts will drop every Monday, Wednesday, and every other Saturday through the first week of August. That's a full summer of real conversation, right when you need it most!
